Score fat on outside of ham and stick cloves into fat.
In a cold skillet, mix sugar, honey, pineapple and orange juices, and cinnamon. Place over low heat and stir constantly. When bubbling, place ham steak in mixture, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Uncover skillet, turn steak, place the orange slices on top, cover, and cook slowly for 10 minutes.
Put steak on a hot platter and let sauce boil for a minute or 2 over high heat. Sauce may be poured over steak or served separately.
Serve with mashed sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, and a rosé wine.
