Peg Leg Porker Memphis Wet Sauce |
Memphis Wet Sauce is an all-purpose, tomato-based sauce that captures the heart and soul of great Memphis-style barbecue. Use it as a condiment after cooking chicken or pork. Or try a dollop in your next batch of slaw, or bathe your baked beans in a savory sauce that is spicy, slightly sweet, and slightly sour.

In a single year, our good friend and BBQ championship veteran, Carey Bringle has launched his own Peg Leg Porker competition team and a line of authentic sauces and dry rubs that are the perfect complement to any smoked, grilled, or roasted meats, and baked dishes.
As Seen in Bon Appétit
In its July 2008, Bon Appétit named its favorite barbecue sauces: "There are hundreds of barbecue sauces out there, but the ones made by veterans of the 'cue competition circuit have a certain real-deal appeal."
Included in the five they loved was Peg Leg Porker Memphis Wet Sauce, which Bon Appétit called, "A thick sauce with herbal, earthy flavors. Good for pork or brisket, or grilled shrimp. By west Tennessee barbecue champ Carey Bringle, three-time second-place winner of the Memphis in May competition."

Tomato concentrate made from red ripe tomatoes, vinegar, high-fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, mustard, spices, honey, brown sugar, molasses, salt, natural flavors, sodium benzoate to preserve freshness. |
