Canadian Bacon |
Our Canadian Bacon, which comes from the eye of the pork loin, has been cured and smoked and is ready for slicing as a breakfast accompaniment, including Eggs Benedict.
Leaner than strip or streaky bacon, Canadian bacon is similar to Irish back bacon (but without the tail) and pea-meal bacon (but without the pea-meal coating).
Each piece is about 1 pound, making it ideal for glazing in the oven and serving as a small dinner ham or pork loin roast for two or three people.
