Sometimes referred to as petite filet, tournedos are cut into 4-ounce portions. The classic preparation calls for two tournedos per serving, each paired with a different sauce. When butterflied and pounded flat, these tournedos are ideal for dishes calling for beef scaloppine.

Delicioso This had to be the most delicious tastiest steak I ever had. Following instructions on Lobel’s site I pan seared it on the stove first then finished it off in the oven.\n\nThe only down side to this steak is i’ll Probably have to order it again!😃

Best Steak Period Hands-down the best steak I\ve ever tasted. Tender fresh juicy. Cook and store it like they suggest for best results. Do NOT freeze if possible (although I personally noticed little change in quality when I did).

Best steak ever This was my first purchase from Lobel\s and it was completely worth the money. Both of my filets arrived at 3pm sealed in a chilled cooler. I followed the sites recommendations for cooking and they turned out perfectly. Seared the steaks on top and bottom for 2 minutes each and then lightly seared the sides. Put them in the oven at 375° and after 12 minutes I had two perfectly cooked delicious steaks.. They were cooked perfectly medium and melt in your mouth juicy. I totally recommend these steaks.

Beyond Expectations ! The 8oz USDA prime filet I received from Lobels was :\n1.. Packed impeccably well. The ice packs were still frozen and the meat was cold (not frozen) to the touch..It was shipped in a a very high quality cooling container.\n2. The steak was perfectly trimmed and once brought to room temperature for cooking gave me an amazing steak that was one of the most tender and flavorful steaks I’ve ever prepared.\nHint : follow the cooking techniques offered on Lobels web site. They are accurate and these guys really know their product.\n3. In all an great experience and without a doubt worth the money for this premium steak.

Beautifully marbled filet My order arrived as scheduled with steaks expertly cut the day before. The 8 oz filet was a beautiful cherry red interrupted by flecks of Snow White marbling. It was amazingly tender and flavorful. Absolutely great beef filet.

Excellent Filet Mignon! The four filet mignon steaks I ordered arrived at my address on the day I had requested. They were the star attraction of our Christmas dinner! My son-in-law cooked them on our grill and they were perfect. Absolutely delicious! A béarnaise sauce and Washington State merlot accompanied our excellent meal.\nI look forward to ordering your prime grade beef for some more memorable meals!
