Horseradish and Bacon Sauce for Fondue

This is a sauce that requires no cooking. It just needs several hours of refrigeration to bind it.

  • Ingredients
  • Buy ingredients available from Lobel's
  • Lobels Logo
    1 1/2 cups sour cream
    1/4 cup white horseradish, drained
    1/4 cup Applewood Smoked Bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. capers, chopped
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tbsp. chives, minced


    Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix them well, cover the bowl, then place in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

Serving Suggestions:

Although this is an excellent dip for fondue, it can be delicious served with hot boiled tongue and broccoli.
