Chicken-Veal Burgers

    2 tablespoons canola oil
    1/2 teaspoon rosemary, dried
    1/2 teaspoon onion, finely chopped
    1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
    2 tablespoons fine dried bread crumbs
    2 tablespoons Harvey's Bristol Cream, optional
    Salt, to taste
    Black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
    1 pound ground veal
    Vegetable oil cooking spray

Directions

    Combine the oil, rosemary, onion, five-spice powder, bread crumbs, and Bristol Cream in a large bowl and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
    Add the chicken and veal using your hands, mix well. Form into 6 patties. Refrigerate until ready to grill.
    Prepare a charcoal or gas grill. Lightly spray the grill rack with vegetable oil cooking spray. The coals should be hot.
    Grill the burgers for 6 to 8 minutes. Turn and grill for about 5 to 8 minutes longer for medium-well burgers.
