Ingredients
-
1 pound All-Natural Chicken Breast Strips
-
2 tablespoons Lobel's All-Purpose Savory Seasoning
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/2 cup chicken broth
-
1/4 cup heavy cream
-
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
-
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
-
salt to taste
-
black pepper to taste
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the All-Natural Chicken Breast Strips with Lobel's All-Purpose Savory Seasoning. Toss well to coat each strip evenly. Let marinate for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken strips in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown and then flip to cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let it reduce by half, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Return the cooked chicken strips to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the garlic herb sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
